83Jean Yuriko Kawachi, 85, of Hilo, a retired Ben Franklin Stores salesclerk, died in Hale Anuenue Restorative Care Center. She was born in Pahala, Hawaii. She is survived by sons Keith and Kirk, daughters Karin Takahashi and Katrine Konanui, sister Sueko Kaneshiro, seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Private services. Donations suggested to the Aloha Chapter of the Alzheimer's Association.
