81Mary Dorothy Poulton Gillis, 98, of Honolulu, former owner of Island Paradise Academy at Wilhelmina Rise, will be remembered in a celebration of life 10 a.m. Jan. 23 at Soto Mission of Hawaii, 1708 Nuuanu Ave. She died in Honolulu. She was born in Honolulu. She is survived by daughters Pamela Kapana and Gwen Bell, stepson Peter, stepdaughters Lola Wright and Liz Sutter, 13 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
