John Chester Kobylanski, 56, of Honolulu, an auto mechanic, security officer and Army veteran, died in Honolulu. He was born in Massachusetts. He is survived by sons Keone, Keola, Kapono and Kealii; father Chester; brothers Jimmy and Jeffrey; sister Cathy White; and six grandchildren. Visitation: 3 p.m. Jan. 29 at Oahu Mortuary, 2162 Nuuanu Ave. Service: 3:30 p.m. Aloha or casual attire.
