Edwin Yutaka Kubota, 85, of Honolulu, a retired state Department of Health inspector and an Army veteran who served in the Korean War, died in Honolulu. He was born in Waipahu. He is survived by wife Dorothy N., daughters Deanne and Sandi, sister Evelyn M. Oishi and two grandchildren. Private services.
