Gilbert Rios Jr., 59, of Hilo, a Hilo Coast Processing Co. truck driver and an Army veteran, died at home. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by daughters LaCher Cabalce, Marlene Carvalho, Melissa Victorino-Arruda, Gilberlyn Rios and Jeanine Sako; mother Katherine Rios-Villanueva; brother Danny; sisters Theresa Fernadez, and Rose Marie and Kathleen Rios; and 18 grandchildren. Private services.
