80Nephi Kahalewai Akina Jr., 41, of Hilo, formerly of Ewa Beach, died in Hilo. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by parents Nephi and Debbie, sister Michelle Ayala, brothers Ryan "Pono" and Shane "Ikaika," and grandparents Dora K. Akina and Ralph Clay.
