Gaila Jeanne Ka'awalauole Townsend, 79, of Crystal River, Fla., a Women's Army Corps veteran, died in Crystal River. She was born in Honolulu. She is survived by husband Benny, son Neal, daughters Debra Jones and Melinda Ray, sister Dana Morey, six grandchildren and a great-grandchild. Visitation: 8:30 a.m. Feb. 6 at Bishop Memorial Chapel at Kamehameha Schools' Kapalama Campus. Services: 9:30 a.m. Aloha attire. No flowers.
