78Violet Natsuyo Hatakenaka, 89, of Hilo, a retired clerk for Machida Drug Inc. and F.W. Woolworth, and part owner of Hilo Chevron Service, died in Hale Anuenue Restorative Care Center. She was born in Honomu, Hawaii. She is survived by son Sidney; brother Eugene Sunakoda; sisters Betsy Honmyo, Alice Sueno and Ruth Tsukimura; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Private services. No flowers. No monetary offerings.
