Masahiro "Monty" Minei, 88, of Honolulu, a retired supply clerk at Submarine Base Pearl Harbor and an Army veteran, died at home. He was born in Lawai, Kauai. He is survived by wife Sumie, sons Sanford M. and Floyd M., and sister Gladys Komesu. Private services.
