Harry Toshio Furuta, 86, of Kailua, a Matson Navigation Co. retiree, died in Straub Clinic & Hospital. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by wife Joyce H.; daughters Patricia H. Nishiki, Jennifer S. Mager and Merryl S. Dempsey; brother Stanley N.; sister Jane T. Hayashi; and five grandchildren. Private services.
