WILLIAM KAM MING CHEE William K. M. Chee, 94 years old passed peacefully on January 31, 2016. He was born in Honolulu, graduated from McKinley High School in 1931, University of Hawaii in 1943 and New York University Law School in 1952. Before attending law school, he was a real estate broker, the owner of beauty shops and the founder of Hawaiian Beauty Products LTD. As an attorney he specialized in real estate matters. He was also a real estate appraiser and developer. He was married to May Chun Chee (a beautician & ceramicist) for 66 years before she passed away in 2009. His daughter Karen Chee Thompson (a flight attendant) also predeceased him in 2002. He is survived by 4 sons, William S. Chee, Robert J. Chee, Richard K. Chee and Steven M. Chee; and his sister Rose Chee Young. Also surviving are 4 grandsons, 3 grand- daughters and 4 great-grand- children. At his request, a private service was held on February 10, 2016.
