DANIEL KAM WAH KOP Daniel Kam Wah Kop, 85 years old, passed away on January 13, 2016 at The Queen's Medical Center. He was the eldest son of the late Guinea (Lily) Kop and, like his golf professional father, Danny did achieve some recognition as a golfer. He graduated from St. Louis College in 1948 and continued his education at the University of Hawaii, achieving his B. S. degree in 1953, majoring in marine zoology. He was then employed by Pan American Airways as an aircraft mechanic for over 32 years. Survivors include his wife, Tamae "Terry", daughter, Danile, sons Guidan and Brandan (Gail). Others include his brother Wendell (Melba), and sister Linda (Cenric) Lee-Ho. His memorial service will be held on Friday, February 19, 2016 at Diamond Head Memorial Chapel, with visitation at 10:00 A.M. and service at 11:00 A.M. Burial will be at a later date.
