Howard Fusao Kawaguchi, 95, of Haleiwa, a retired state carpenter, an Army veteran who served in the 442nd Regimental Combat Team, Engineer Company, and an aikido sensei-3rd Dan, died in Wahiawa. He was born in Kona, Hawaii. He is survived by wife Katherine H.; sons Ray, Ernest and Dean; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Private services.
