73Patricia Ames Avery, formerly Patricia Schattenburg, 83, of Kahului, a retired Hawaii Public Radio membership coordinator and a kindergarten teacher at Sacred Hearts School in Lahaina, died in Roselani Place. She was born in San Mateo, Calif. She is survived by sons Mark, Richard and Aaron Schattenburg; daughter Lisa Schattenburg-Raymond; brother Tom Ames; sisters Alice Morison and Kate Ames; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
