James "Jimmy" Correa, 96, of Hilo, a retired recreation leader with the Hawaii County Department of Parks and Recreation, baseball coach and an Army veteran who served in World War II, died at home. He was born in Hilo. He is survived by sons James S., George, Thomas and Andrew; daughters Ellen Iida, Mary and Aileen Correa, and Chrystine Arbles; 15 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. Visitation: 4 p.m. Feb. 24 at Dodo Mortuary. Services: 7 p.m. Additional visitation: 8:30 am. Feb. 25 at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Mass: 10:30 a.m. Burial to follow at Hawaii Veterans Cemetery No. 2. Aloha or casual attire.
