72Mark Schmer, 65, of Kailua-Kona, a retired pest control exterminator and a construction laborer, died. He was born in Los Angeles. He is survived by daughter Brianne, brothers Wayne and Donny, sister Sharon Sussan and two grandchildren. Graveside service: 9 a.m. Feb. 25 at West Hawaii Veterans Cemetery.
