BETTY L. PEDRO 87, died peacefully at home in Kailua on Feb. 12, 2016 surrounded by family. She is predeceased by husband, John M. Pedro, Sr., former IPGCU 413 and Hawaii Newspaper Agency union official and pressman; also predeceased by sons, Francis and Thomas and daughters, Susan and Bonnie Faith. She is survived by her sons, John Jr. (Sandra), Timothy (Theresa), James (Leianne), and Michael; her daughters, Gerrilynn (Joseph) Hodges, Toni Pedro, and Bonnie (Edward) Sobieranski; 24 grand- children; 22 great grandchildren; and brother, Reynold Rodrigues. She was a member of the Young Ladies Institute #213 and the University of Hawaii F.C.E. Betty was a child care provider in Kailua for over 40+ years which brought her great joy. Visitation Wed. Feb. 24 at St. Anthony's Church in Kailua at 9:30am. Mass at 10:30am. No flowers. Private burial services.
