74Elaine Pualani Watai, 77, of Kailua-Kona, a retired youth specialist for the Salvation Army Intervention Services, and head bartender and luau coordinator for Keauhou Beach Hotel, died in Kaiser Medical Center. She was born in Honolulu. She is survived by daughters Paula Jelsma and Shiloah Kenolio; sons Benjamin, Walter and Jerry; hanai daughters Florence Schamehorn and Kaleinani Balanon; sisters Frances Salvador and Rose Williams; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Service: 4 p.m. Friday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Kailua-Kona. Additional service: 7:30 a.m. Saturday at the church. Burial: 9 a.m. at West Hawaii Veterans Cemetery. Casual attire. Flowers welcome.
