79James Kahaea Kalani Jr., 82, of Waimanalo, died in Las Vegas. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by wife Pearl; sons Lakeson, Francis "Ahnee" and Frank Kalani and Eric "Kaleo" Gaspar; daughters Charlotte Gaspar, Skydee Canon and Rubyleen Kalani; brother Frank Lake Jr.; sisters Susan and Sandra Lake; 10 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
