82Sterling McFarland "John" Spencer Jr., 54, of Honolulu, an armed security lead for the National Security Agency and a security officer for Eagles Environmental and Safeguard, died in Honolulu. He was born in Oakland, Calif. He is survived by wife Pearl T.; sons Keala T. and Solomon S.; daughter Sanoe P.; hanai mother Loretta "Lorraine"; brother Guy Elizares; sisters Gail Heneger, Gaye Rice and Sterlene Palmerton; hanai brother Brian; and hanai sisters Lynn Hernandez, Noble'ene Kealoha, Kim Spencer and Gail Enos. Visitation: 10 a.m. Feb. 27 at Nuuanu Memorial Park & Mortuary. Service: 11 a.m. Burial: 2 p.m. at Hawaiian Memorial Park. Aloha or casual attire.
