71Beatrice Sawayo Shinoda, 92, of Honolulu, a retired secretary at the University of Hawaii at Manoa, died in Waipahu. She was born in Kaneohe. She is survived by son Ronald, daughters Lynn Nishihara and Nadine Takahashi, sisters Elsie Tanimura and Joyce Otsubo, three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Visitation: 5 p.m. Feb. 29 at Harris United Methodist Church in Honolulu. Services: 6 p.m. Inurnment: 10 a.m. March 1 at Hawaii State Veteran's Cemetery, Kaneohe. Casual attire.
