Liberato Caluya Viduya, 78, of Pearl City, who served in various positions in the Department of Education for 45 years, including district superintendent, state assistant superintendent of curriculum and instruction, counselor and teacher, died in Honolulu. He was born in Lanai City. He is survived by wife Loretta C., daughter Liamarie L. Thomas, brother Robert Viduya, sisters Rosita Hueu and Adeline Uyeda, and three grandchildren. Visitation: 8:30 a.m. Feb. 26 at Mililani Mortuary-Waipio, mauka chapel. Services: 11 a.m. Burial: 12:30 p.m. at Mililani Memorial Park. Casual attire.
