KENNETH KENTARO TANAKA Kenneth Kentaro Tanaka passed away peacefully on January 31, 2016. He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Jean Ayako Tanaka, son, Milton (Audrey), daughter, Jo Anne, and sister, Harriet Miyamoto. Kenneth was predeceased by sons Douglas (Linda) and Glenn. Kenneth served in World War II with the 442nd Infantry Battalion and decorated with the Purple Heart. Following the war, Kenneth was a mason for 50 years. He enjoyed coaching his sons in baseball and going shore fishing. He truly loved spending time with his grandchildren, Matthew and Meredith Tanaka and Kenny Libbon. Memorial services will be held on Thursday/February 25, 2016 at Diamond Head Memorial Park Mortuary. Visitation will be from 9:30 AM with memorial service at 10 AM. Burial at the Kaneohe Hawaii State Veteran's Cemetary at 1 PM. Casual attire is requested.
