80Margaret Elizabeth Blackmer, 90, of Kurtistown, Hawaii, a retired state Department of Education teacher for Hilo Union School and numerous schools in Hilo, died at home. She was born in San Bernardino, Calif. She is survived by daughter Dania, brother Warren Perry, two grandchildren and a great-grandchild. Visitation: 3:30 p.m. Feb. 27 at Hilo Missionary Church, 1044 Komohana St. Services: 4:30 p.m. Committal services: noon Feb. 29 at Hawaii Veterans Cemetery No. 2. Aloha attire. Flowers welcome.
