Ralph Winge Niesz, 91, of Honolulu, a retired Coast Guard captain, died in Honolulu. He was born in Seattle. He is survived by wife Muriel C., daughters Cheryle Minatoya and Andrea Neal, sister Patricia McGuinn, two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Celebration of life: 4 p.m. Feb. 28 at Kahala Nui. Donations suggested to Holy Nativity Church or the Institute for Human Services Outreach Program.
