Lorenzo L. Yorong, 82, of Las Vegas, a retired flight simulator instructor and a Marine Corps veteran who served in the Korean War, died in Las Vegas. He was born in Kalihi. He is survived by wife Barbara; sons Timothy D. and Lorenzo L. Jr.; daughters Darlene Y. Rhode, Kathleen Yorong, Laverne Doo and Kiana Y. Jodell; brothers Julian and Stanley; sister Cynthia Dean; 16 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren. Visitation: 9 a.m. Feb. 26 at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church, Aiea. Mass: 10 a.m. Inurnment: 1 p.m. at Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery, Kaneohe. Scattering of ashes Feb. 27 at sunset at White Plains Beach, Kalaeloa. Casual or aloha attire. No flowers.
