Kiichi "Fred" Fukuchi, 94, of Hilo, a retired maintenance supervisor for the Hawaii County Department of Parks and Recreation and an Army veteran who served in World War II with Company I, 442nd Regimental Combat Team, died at home. He was born in Hilo. He is survived by son Curtis, daughter Sharon Botelho, brothers Bruce and Frederick Fukuchi, sisters Irene Sadler and Betty Hamakawa, three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Private services. No flowers. No monetary offerings.
