75Robert Ernest Carvalho, 71, of Manteca, Calif., formerly of Hilo, a retired diesel mechanic for Kaiser Sand and Gravel, died in Modesto, Calif. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by sons Russell, Raymond and Richard Juip; daughter Roberta Marlow; mother Roseline Victorine; brothers Ernest Carvalho and Rodney and Clyde Victorine; sisters Ernestine Vankeuren, Elsie Yim, Delfey Mae Gordon and Laverne Manoa; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Visitation: 6 p.m. March 3 at Dodo Mortuary Chapel. Services: 7 p.m. Additional visitation: 9 a.m. March 4 at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Mass: 10 a.m. Burial to be held at Homelani Memorial Park. Casual attire. No flowers.
