78Bessie Yuen Nishida, 100, of Hilo, a retired state Department of Education teacher, died in Life Care Center of Hilo. She was born in Waipahu. She is survived by daughters Anne Sadayasu, Jeanne Yagi and Joan Sakaba; five grandchildren; and seven greatgrandchildren. Visitation: 10 a.m. March 4 at Church of the Holy Cross, 440 W. Lanikaula St., Hilo. Services: 11 a.m. Casual attire. No flowers. No monetary offerings.
