William Teruo "Teru" Sakai, 83, of Kalaheo, Kauai, an Army veteran and a retired security guard with the Department of Defense in Kokee, Kauai, died at home. He was born in Port Allen, Kauai. He is survived by wife Myra "Linda," son William Jr., daughters Debbie S. Ortiz-Luis and Amy Rita, brother James and four grandchildren. Visitation: 10:30 a.m. March 5 at Kauai Veterans Cemetery Pavilion. Celebration of life: 11 a.m. Inurnment to follow.
