Eufracio T. Alvarado Jr., also known as "the Sgt. Major" and "Tutu Man," 78, of Kaneohe, a retired Marine Corps command sergeant major, died in Kailua. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by wife Helena; sons Eric, Nathan and Eugene; daughter Denise Lawrence; brother Jesus; sister Gloriana A. Gonsalves; 17 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren. Services: 10 a.m. March 6 at the family compound, 47-534 Ahilama Road, Kahaluu. Casual attire. Flowers welcome. Incorrect information in an obituary published Thursday.
