Franklin Augustiro Sr., 89, of Kaunakakai, Molokai, a retired Monsanto Molokai lead crew laborer and an Army veteran, died on Molokai. He was born on Molokai. He is survived by wife Francisca "Sally"; sons Patrick Jr. and Franklin Jr.; daughter Zaldeen "Leihua" Reis; sisters Victoria "Vicky" Augustiro Eye, Nancy Rediros Luat and Patricia "Tisa" Rediros Garcia; brother Nicasio "Casio" Rediros Sr.; 12 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.
