William Francis Cateel, 80, of Pearl City, an Air Force veteran, died in Aiea. He was born on Maui. He is survived by wife Masako K.; daughter Karen Gibson; sisters Laura Gonzales, Alice Ramos and Ruth Thomas; and two grandchildren. Visitation: 9 a.m. March 9 at Mililani Mortuary-Waipio, mauka chapel. Services: 11 a.m. Committal services: 2 p.m. at Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery, Kaneohe. Casual attire. Flowers welcome.
