William James "Uncle Billy" Kimi Jr., 93, of Kailua-Kona, Hawaii, founder and owner of Uncle Billy's Hilo Bay and Kona Bay hotels and Kona Inn Shopping Village, and an entrepreneur, chef, building contractor, Rotarian and Central Pacific Bank adviser, died at home. He was born in Hilo. He is survived by sons Billy III and Kimo; daughters Beverly Oka, Sandy Yokomizo, Daphne Moinpour and Traci Snively; 17 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren. Visitation: 8 a.m. March 11 at New Hope Christian Fellowship, 840 Kupu- lau Road, Hilo. Service: 11 a.m. Lunch to follow. Burial: 2:30 p.m. at Homelani Memorial Park in Hilo. Casual attire. Flowers welcome. Additional visitation: 10 a.m. March 12 at St. Michael's Catholic Church on Alii Drive in Kailua-Kona. Service: 12:45 p.m. No flowers. Gathering and celebration of life to follow on the oceanfront lawn of the Kona Inn Shopping Village.
