74Alma Keliipio Malama Nerez, 91, of Kapolei, an entrepreneur, died in Honolulu. She was born in Koloa, Kauai. She is survived by companion Herbert Sommerfeld; son Steven Cardenas Jr.; daughter Lucille Witthoeft; brothers Joseph, William, Vernon, Edmund and Patrick Malama; sister Abigail Estacio; seven grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren. Visitation: 5 p.m. March 12 at Mililani Mortuary-Waipio, makai chapel. Celebration of life: 6 p.m. Aloha attire.
