Leilani H. "Darling" Caitano, 81, of Hilo, a retired Hawaii Radiologic Associates X-ray technician and an Air Force veteran, died at home. She was born in Hilo. She is survived by sons Paul Jr. and Duane Caitano, and Jeffrey and Brett "Braddah" Carter; daughters Janice Brawner, Catherine Stevens and Michelle Martines; hanai son Guy Fukushima; brothers Takeji and William Kobayashi; sisters Leiko Kiyojima and Naomi Marumoto; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Visitation: 5 p.m. March 14 at Dodo Mortuary, Hilo. Services: 6 p.m. Burial: 9 a.m. March 15 at Hawaii Veterans Cemetery No. 2. Casual attire.
