Shigeo "Shige" Ito, 89, of Honolulu, a retired civilian employee at Hickam Air Force Base and an Army veteran who served in World War II, died in Kuakini Medical Center. He was born in Lahaina. He is survived by wife Winifred Y.; son Scott T.; daughters Dr. Melanie S. and Pamela Y. Ito, Deirdre R. Kinstler and Heidi R. Fujishige; and four grandchildren. Private services.
