74Herbert Thomas Frias Sr., 75, of Hilo, a retired Continental Mechanical plumber, died in Hilo Medical Center. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by fiancee Annette O'Brien; sons Herbert Jr. and Antonio; daughters Linda Mercado, Jolene Gabbay, Melissa Kalauli and Sandy Kanaele; brother John; sisters Christine Phillips and Lana Frias; 17 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
