72Steve Schibye, 53, of Koloa, Kauai, a fifth-grade teacher at Eleele Elementary School, died. He was born in Newport Beach, Calif. He is survived by wife Cheri "Curtis," daughter Lauren, stepdaughter Katherine Aleman, stepson Jeff Price, mother Lise-Lotte R. and two grandchildren. Celebration of life and paddle-out: 9 a.m. March 12 at Waiohai Beach. Reception on beach to follow. Aloha or casual attire. Lei welcome.
