72Abraham "Puhipau" Ahmad Jr., 78, of Hawaii, a Hawaiian kingdom patriot and documentary filmmaker, died at home. He was born in Hilo. He is survived by wife Joan Lander; sons Eleu and Vernon N. Puhipau and Kaiana Ahmad; brother Harrub A. Houssein; sister Halawe Bohreer; former wife Aulani; eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. Services: 10 a.m. March 25 at Iolani Palace.
