George Masayuki Akasaki, 88, of Pearl City, a retired Army command sergeant major who served in the Korean and Vietnam wars, died in the Queen's Medical Center. He was born in Paauilo, Hawaii. He is survived by sons Guy M., Jesse M. and Gary M.; sisters Shizue and Tsuruko Asato; and eight grandchildren. Private services.
