Gilbert "Val" Valentine, 90, of Honolulu, a retired Equitable Life Insurance agent and an Army veteran, died in Honolulu. He was born in Puunene, Maui. He is survived by wife Thelma; son Gilbert G.; daughters Linda L. Puleloa, Loretta L. Brackett and Lisa M. Valentine; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Private services.
