Peter Keaweoluna Brighter, 52, of Nuremberg, Germany, a construction mechanic and an Army veteran, died in Kaunakakai, Molokai. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by companion Wally Schwarzmann; sons James, Dominic and Patrick Brighter, and Manono Liebermann; sisters Maryann Tamoria, Margaret "Muggs" Enoka, Grace Brockway, Sharlene Rezentes and Harmony T.K. Brighter; and two grandchildren. Visitation: 9 a.m. March 19 at Kalanianaole Hall. Services: 11 a.m. Burial to follow at Hoolehua Veterans Cemetery. Aloha or casual attire. Flowers welcome.
