Yoshimi Horie Uyeda, 96, of Waimea, Hawaii, a Kamuela vegetable stand retiree, died in Hale Hoola Hamakua. She was born in Hilo. She is survived by son Vernon, daughters Alice Moromisato and Velma von Bloeker, six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Visitation: 10 a.m. March 24 at Dodo Mortuary, Hilo. Services: 11 a.m. Cremation to follow. Casual attire. No flowers.
