Bernard Henry Van Hoof, 82, of Waipahu, a retired Air Force chief master sergeant who served in the Korean and Vietnam wars, died in Waipahu. He was born in Pleasant Prairie, Wis. He is survived by companion Rose Dongug; son Gregory; daughters Elizabeth Lee and Deborah Hansen; brothers Fred, Richard and Kenneth; sisters Joanne Higgins and Donna Hirt; and four grandchildren. Services to be held in Necedah, Wis. Casual attire. In lieu of flowers, donations suggested to operationhomefront.net.
