Susan Catherine Stevenson
SUSAN CATHERINE STEVENSON 79, died peacefully at her home in Portland, OR on February 11, 2016 after losing her battle with pancreatic cancer. Susan was born in 1937 in Chillicothe, Missouri and came to Hawaii in 1940. She graduated from Punahou School in 1955. She attended the University of Washington where she studied English Literature and was a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma Sorority. Susan returned to Hawaii in 1961. Susan was an avid horsewoman and a voracious reader who also enjoyed gardening, needlepoint and spending time with her family and friends. Susan is survived by her three children David Seth of Honolulu, HI, Barry Seth (Patty) of Portland, OR and Leslie Niebuhr (Jay) of Kailua, HI, and two grandchildren, Katherine Seth and Anna Seth. Susan requested that no service or memorial be held, but that her and her late husband Douglas' ashes be scattered into the Pacific Ocean.
