77Merry Kimiko Okano, 98, of Honolulu, a retired Japanese-language schoolteacher for Pearl City Hongwanji Gakuen and Fort Gakuen Japanese Language School, died at home. She was born in Tidehaven, Wash. She is survived by sons the Rev. Thomas R. and Francis A., daughter Grace M. Yamamoto, seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Services held.
