Walter Francis Miller, 89, of Hilo, a Federal Aviation Administration retiree, retired specialty home and general contractor, and an Army veteran who served in World War II, died at home. He was born in Watertown, Oahu. He is survived by sons Walter K. and Melvin; daughter Norrie Judd; sisters Amy Roberson, Gertrude Graves and Marjorie Steeves; 11 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild. Visitation: 4 p.m. April 2 at Hilo Missionary Church, 1044 Komohana St. Services: 5 p.m. Graveside committal services: 9 a.m. April 4 at Hawaii Veterans Cemetery No. 2. Casual attire.
