Frederick Caparoso, 89, of Waipahu, a retired Air Force master sergeant, died in Honolulu. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by sons Frederick Jr., Barry, Randal, Daniel and Christian; daughters Cynthia Gaitley and Leslie Martin; sisters Anita Broder and Clarita Baker; 16 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. Visitation: 5 p.m. April 6 at Nuuanu Memorial Park & Mortuary. Services: 6 p.m. Additional visitation: 9 a.m. April 7 at St. Joseph Church. Mass: 10 a.m. Burial: 12:45 p.m. at Diamond Head Memorial Park. Aloha attire.
