Gilbert Yoon Bong Choi, 84, of Kaneohe, an educational administrator and an Army veteran, died in Honolulu. He was born in Hilo. He is survived by wife Doris P., son Eric, daughter Kathryn Ellwanger, brothers Albert and Stanley, and two grandchildren.
